SNOW WHITE’S SORRY POEM
July 7, 2021BLOG #3: SYMBOLISM – PART 1 – SYMBOLISM COMBINED WITH ALLUSIONS
August 1, 2021Are you looking for somewhere to take the children? Or perhaps do some sketching. Take some photographs? Smell the eucalypts? Wittunga Botanic Park is the perfect place for some time out. The grounds are beautifully tended and you will be reminded of the extraordinary plants that are native to our country. Last weekend, I took a walk around Wittunga and it was like taking a week’s holiday. Just breathing in the eucalypt smell was enough to put a smile on my face. The pond. The ducks. The ibises. It is just a tranquil oasis. It feels like a country retreat. And there are plenty of shops and cafes to enjoy afterwards. Enjoy op-shopping? I picked up some bargains! Second-hand books? I dare not go back there too often! You’ll enjoy Blackwood. It’s so close, but you feel as though you have left the city behind you with all its cares and cars and confinement. Spread your wings! It’s free!
