CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SAETA COUNCIL
Accolades to Tracy and Kelly and the SAETA team for another fabulous May conference. Covid did not stop us! I have had some great feedback from my colleagues who were impressed by Jonathan Scobie’s engaging approach to the Stage 2 English Response to Media – very appropriate in the midst of back-to-back political campaigns in South Australia! The four sessions I attended fulfilled my expectations and I especially thank all the dynamic presenters who were willing to add to their already overloaded schedules to bring us their inspiring ideas and pedagogical approaches to take back to our students. Pain Chip Poetry is a winner! Look at Rhiannan O’Hara’s power point on the SAETA website, if you want to know more! It always warms my heart to see how many teachers are willing to give up their Saturdays, in order to build their knowledge and expertise for the sake of their students. If you haven’t been uplifted by one of SAETA’s conferences yet, don’t let another one go by without joining your peers for some exceptional professional development. Prepare to be stimulated and re-energized!
